Your data, your choice, and your privacy is protected every step of the way

When you connect an account, you log in through Plaid's secure portal, not Zaqat. By default we only receive read-only balance data to calculate your zakat, and we read your transactions only if you turn on budgeting. Your financial data is sensitive, especially when it involves a religious obligation. Here's how we keep it safe.

Your transaction history stays private by default. We only read it if you switch on the Barakah Money budgeting tool, and you can turn that off and delete the data anytime.
